"Through the Lens: Bangladesh" Group in Flickr arranged another nice photowalk on the 19th morning. This is the second such photowalk this Ramadan. Credit goes to Shudipto for the arrangement and also to Faisal Bhai for the continuous support. Just like the previous photowalk at Basila and naturewatch at Jahangirnagar University, it was a great success. Didn't really count the number of participants, but its sure that from the originally listed 26, many missed it. Some struggled to wake up timely, as usual; and you can't really blame them. I also struggled to wake up, as I had very little sleep last night.
The program started by around 9:00AM at Science Laboratory foot over-bridge. Although original plan was to stick at that place, we decided to move off before the clock even hit 10:00. We crossed the crowded streets and went towards Dhanmondi Lake.
The whole street was our subject as we continued to shoot all the way. We entered the Lake area from the southernmost part near Dhanmondi Road#2 and ended up somewhere near Dhanmondi Road#8.
It was a nice hang around and some nice opportunity to exercise the camera. We had captured quite a few moments by the time we closed the tour by around 11:20AM.

ReplyDeleteI love Dhaka,the tradition ,the religion,the sweetest language ,the whole country is fantastic.My father was posted there in 1983 and till date i dream of visiting Dhaka once again.Amaar sonar Bangladesh.Immense beauty lies here.
